| Director: Marta Tesoro - Producer: Thomas Pullar |
Winner of the Gold Jury Prize at the 2005 Houston World Cinematography and Film Festival.
Working alongside reknowned 2D animator Marta Tesoro, and TRAITOR created the short film 'Top Shelf' using only crayons and rudimentary twigs. Set in the dark world of Rabbit Town, the film traces the last few hours of child beauty queen, Abigail Whine.
The film proved a pleasant challenge combining seamless 3D cell shading with 2D animation. Despite the films dark undertones and possible morality it has been screened in over 38 international festivals, including 3 academy award listed childrens film festivals (kids these days...) Recently winning the Gold Jury at Houston WorldFest and the Professional Animation Prize at RedStick International. |
